Sad news

I just heard the sad news that Joseph Stefano passed away recenlty. He was the screenwriter of the famous Alfred Hitchcock film Psycho, among many other credits. He was also a contributor to our book Doing It For Money - The Agony and Ecstasy of Writing and Surviving in Hollywood.

At the end of his essay, he says that he thought about retiring after a difficult episode in the business but he chose not to and added "So, I'm still in the business I love more than I hate and in which I've had more joy than heartbreak."

He will be missed.

Hey Tallfellians - Just a quick post to give you a heads up about our new book, Doing It For Money - The Agony and Ecstasy of Writing and Surviving in Hollywood, and its upcoming appearance on Airtalk with Larry Mantle (guest host for the show will be Judy Muller) on Tuesday July 11th at 11:30 a.m. (NPR's KPCC in Pasadena, CA). Barring anymore North Korean missiles or late breaking news of TomKat's tot, we should be on for the full half-hour.
So, listen in. It should be fun.
The regular blog with new Droodles caption contest and last time's winner will be here shortly. Stay tuned.
Thanks!
